Houston-based multifamily real estate company Fein has acquired nearly 3.4 acres inside the 610 Loop for its next luxury project.

The project, called Reverie at River Hollow, will be at the northeast corner of Post Oak Park Drive and River Hollow Lane, according to a July 12 press release. That's just east of the Loop and the Uptown Park shopping center as well as a mile north of the River Oaks District.

Right on the heels of The Belvedere at Springwoods Village, Fein acquired land to build a second multifamily community in the buzzy master-planned development.

Here's president Martin Fein. The Mark at CityPlace Springwoods Village will include 268 high-end units (ranging from 572 SF efficiencies to 1,600 SF three-bedroom homes) on 3.8 acres at Springwoods Village Parkway and Lake Plaza Drive. The common areas will have upscale amenities including a gourmet demonstration kitchen, university-style library with free WiFi and adjoining conference rooms, and a spa with private treatment rooms. It'll feature first-floor retail and dining and sits in the CityPlace town center area, which includes more dining, shopping and recreation. The Mark at CityPlace will break ground in mid-2015 and deliver in Q3 2017. Fein's first Springwoods project, The Belvedere, delivered a few months ago and already 100 of its 342 units are leased.

Fein, the developer of the first apartments in Springwoods Village, has purchased a second site in the master-planned community north of Houston for the development of The Mark at CityPlace Springwoods Village.

The Houston-based apartment developer and manager has purchased 3.75 acres at the southeast corner of Springwoods Village Parkway and Lake Plaza Drive from CDC Houston. The property will be part of CityPlace, a 60-acre urban district within the 2,000-acre Springwoods Village community, which is home to new corporate campuses for ExxonMobil and Southwestern Energy.

Martin Fein Interests is planning to break ground on a 335-unit luxury apartment complex in Raleigh in the next few weeks.

According to the NewsObserver, the Houston-based apartment developer has acquired the 7-acre site, located on the Kidd's Hill Plaza property behind Crabtree Valley Mall, from Weingarten Realty Investors for $7 million. Also of Houston, Weingarten still owns about 3 acres of the larger piece of property, which it purchased in 2007 for $18.8 million.
